Vibrations in multiple-story structures from earthquakes*

P. E. STEVENS

Abstract

THIS paper offers a relatively simple analysis by means of which the motions in the several stories of a building, resulting from harmonic vibration of its foundation, may be theoretically determined. The method is correct. The accuracy of the results depends only upon the reliability of the data available.
