The effect of boundaries on wave propagation in a liquid-filled porous solid: VII. Surface waves in a half-space in the presence of a liquid layer

Abstract

The velocity dispersion relation and the expression for the attenuation coefficient are derived appropriate to surface waves in a porous half-space supporting a layer of liquid, generalizing a solution due to Stoneley.
