The 1968 Inangahua earthquake: Report of the university of canterbury survey team

Abstract

Observations are reported on the Inangahua earthquake of May 24 1968. The earthquake (magnitude 7) was felt widely in the South Island of New Zealand. An accelograph recorded a maximum of 0.35 g, 18 miles from Inangahua. There were two fatalities and wide damage.
