BHABHA ATOMIC RESEARCH CENTRE SEISMOLOGY SECTION, TROMBAY, BOMBAY-85, India
Abstract
Focal mechanism solutions are presented for two earthquakes that occurred in peninsular India. The first motions of P, PKP and the polarization (or first motions) of S waves were used for this investigation. Both of these mechanisms are found to be associated with strike-slip faulting.
